Abstract
This work presents a model for long term Optimization applied to Electric Distribution Systems, with allocation of Distributed Generation (DG), supported in a new metaheuristic. This approach is inspired in both Evolutionary Strategies (ES) and in Fuzzy Particle Swarm Optimization (FPSO) algorithms (FPSO+ES = FEPSO). As results of its applicaüon, are obtained the Network Topology, power of units of DG and Transformers (in the same substation) and their allocation, such that minimizing the Global Cost of Distribution System Network and the Energy Non Supplied. The advantage of FEPSO in respect to other metaheuristics, such as PSO or AG, is evidenced.
