dc.description.abstract | The present study proposes to demonstrate how a computer simulation tool helps the designer in developing an efficient artificial lighting system. The objective is to create a visual environment in the buildings that lets occupants see, move in security and bring out different visual tasks efficiently and accurately, without causing fatigue and discomfort or visual impediments. The computer programs allow us to obtain a realistic view of space before it is projected, they let us modify settings, get photo-realistic representations, numerical results and make accurate calculations of light in less time and with greater accuracy, and allowing an easy determination of the correct relationship between the project and the legislation. Additionally it is intended that the systems of artificial lighting must be energy efficient, minimizing any possible negative energy impact. This study used the DIALUX 4.9 software for calculating illumination and RELUX PRO to perform simulations of the repre | en |
